Despite not having the commercial recognition they deserved, The Flamingos left behind an enduring body of work with some of the finest and most unique close harmony tracks of the 50s. With the addition of a high soprano soaring over the tenors, and their polished performances including cleverly choreographed dance routines, they are certainly one of the most influential groups of their genre.
